Product Review: Droid Charge by Samsung

Droid Charge by Samsung has a stunning touch screen of Super AMOLED. The 4G LTE data transfers are super fast and the battery life lasts longer than some Smartphones of the same caliber. The qualities of the received calls are good as well as the picture quality of the camera. Having the Droid Charge by Samsung is like having the whole entertainment HQ in your pocket. You can get instant access to the media hub with tons of movies and shows. You can get to enjoy video games without interruptions. An expansion slot was also provided for your option to increase the memory up to 32 GB.

The Droid Charge by Samsung is rather large and expensive. It has no dual-core processor and some of the latest features of any other phones but its slim design is easy to hold. The Droid Charge by Samsung is very stylish and not so bulky. It can easily snuggle inside a pocket that you can carry it almost anywhere.

Droid Charge by Samsung may not be the most gorgeous but the data speed is excellent plus the battery can give you more than what you have expected.

Features

The Droid Charge by Samsung can provide the standard call features plus speaker phone. It also offers speed dial, conference, voice commands, multimedia messaging, and text messaging. It can handle video calling with its 1.3 mega pixel front camera but it does not support Skype. Although Droid Charge by Samsung does not come with preloaded video chat, you can always download them from Android Market.

Droid Charge by Samsung comes with Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi. Droid Charge by Samsung is a 4G Smartphone. Web browsing is a breeze as well as media streaming. Droid Charge by Samsung can be used as a mobile hot spot and you can share 4G connection on up to ten units and 3G connections of up to 5 units (payment depending on the availed plan).
Droid Charge by Samsung runs on Android 2.2.1 and you can get the standard Google services, social networking, calendar management, and contact. The unit is preloaded with necessary apps and some fun extras.

Design and Capabilities

The Droid Charge by Samsung has a slab design with a slight bump on the back which is a nice spot to rest your palm though it is easy to hold, it is still not so comfortable to the touch. It measures 5.11″ X 2.66″ X 0.46″ but the plastic construction manages to keep it lightweight. It weights only 5.04 ounces.

The 4.3 inch touch screen of 480 X 800 pixels has also 50% more sub pixels that made the display give more visibility and picture clarity. The sharpness of the video is astounding that the picture seems to pop out of the screen with its brilliant and rich colors. The screen can be read at various angle and you don’t need to shy away from the sun when you are outdoor just to see your text message.

The touch screen is very responsive that applications are launched at once when tapped. The onscreen keyboard is truly amazing. Droid Charge by Samsung is everything you need for to provide you with everything your heart desires.

Product Review: Motorola Droid RAZR

Motorola Droid RAZR has a gorgeous, lightweight, and slender design that can offer a whole lot more than just good looks. The new Motorola Droid RAZR repels water and scratch resistant. The unit is so thin but very sturdy proving that being thin does not mean being frail. Phone calls are great to take on this unit because it is nice to hold up to the ear and no foreign or unnecessary sounds can be heard.

The captured pictures are vivid and video chats are fantastic on Motorola Droid RAZR. It is truly aesthetically beautiful and functions remarkably well that anyone would be amazed with the things it can do.

Features and Capabilities
Motorola Droid RAZR was created using the best and the latest materials in the market. It may be thin but it does not mean it is weak. It will not be damaged easily as it was made durably with KEVLAR fiber and the screen is shielded against all sorts of scratches or scrapes because of the Corning Gorilla Glass. There seems to be a force barrier surrounding it made of water-repellant nano particles that safeguard the unit against any water invasion. The protection includes the electrical boards that live within the unit responsible for doing such wonders for the Smartphone.
It has an unbelievable 4.3- inch super advanced display for great viewing pleasure. Motorola Droid RAZR has 1.2GHZ dual-core processor that can take on twice the processing capabilities of any smart phones’ single-core processor and has an added 1GB RAM to keep things smoothly running. The network speed is super fast with Verizon’s 4G/LTE boosting your everyday needs to download, video chat or stream, and things you need to get done in a fraction of the time. It can allow you to have unlimited access to limitless libraries. It has various multimedia features to suit your lifestyle while keeping your privacy with is corporate and government level security. The camera is fast enough to capture every single breath of the movement and the display is so detailed. It offers decent battery life and with its Smart Action apps (more like a personal phone management) it can boosts battery life giving you more time to do what needs to be done using Motorola Droid RAZR.

Motorola Droid RAZR might not go well with small hands. It may be thin but it is considered a large-sized unit. The picture quality that its 8-megapixel camera can give is vivid enough but still fall a little short from what it was expected to give. The battery is not removable that infuriates some users.

Other Capabilities
The QWERTY keyboard is different in Motorola Droid RAZR with its crisp white lettering that naturally stands out not only against its jet black backdrop but among other phones as well. The free MotoCast lets users stream picture, documents, and music from their computers through the unit which gives media portability. The Smart Action app lets users set the rules or commands and trigger the phone to execute them such as turning off power-consuming features when not in use, muting itself, automatically launch news in the morning, and open Google maps.
The 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB with micro SD card also connects to the unit docking station that can give users larger view.

What Users Say
Most users of Motorola Droid RAZR find it unbelievably functional with its gorgeous feature and style. Everything that one needs from a fully dependable phone was provided by Motorola Droid RAZR. The only complaints so far are the camera could at least give more than what it could already give and that the battery would be hard to replace and changing for the extra pack is impossible, you will need to bring the charger with you just to make sure.

All in all, Motorola Droid RAZR is truly an amazing Smartphone that you can be proud of and glad that you have one.

Product Review: Linksys E3000

Linksys E3000 is considered one of the finest wireless routers. It has Wi-Fi frequencies of simultaneous dual band that makes it possible to access two unattached points. The excellent parental control can also allow guest networking while keeping the environment within its realm secure and safe. The technical support is decent and the unit is easy to manage and organize.

Features:
The Linksys E3000 include Ethernet WAN port of one gigabit and LAN ports of four gigabit. The additional LAN port from the usual three being offered by other wireless routers proved to be beneficial. Fast wired ports for LAN must add Network Attached Storage or NAS, net phones, computers, and gaming consoles.

The design is sleek and very pleasing to the eyes with its plate-shaped framework. All the unsightly antennas are hidden within its body making it look more compact than it already is. The Linksys E3000 can be put to rest on the table or can be mounted to the wall – it all depends on your preference and either one is good. There are four LAN ports and one WAN port, which are all Gigabit-capable that only means they can support up to 1,000 Mbps. At the back of the unit, you will find the power switch and the USB 2.0 port that can allow USB external storage for NAS functions. Although it can host an external storage, the USB port is not allowed to host a printer.

Capabilities:
The Linksys E3000 high-performance wireless router delivers everything you can expect from a superb router which includes dual-band, fast throughput, Gigabit Ethernet, NAS capabilities, good web interface, long range, networking features that you desire, and a compact design. The Linksys E3000 also include intuitive software applications to help even the non savvy users set up a home wireless network with ease.

The Linksys E3000 built-in network storage however, lacks the needed speed and the guest networking capabilities is very limited. It does not have USB printer support and the Media Server is not quite efficient with big video files. The desktop application is not applicable with Linksys E3000 web interface.

All in all, Linksys E3000 can still provide the needed wireless performance that even novices won’t have any trouble setting it up and it is easy to understand and use.

Security:
The Linksys E3000 can accommodate up to ten visitors to link (hence the name Linksys) into the network. Authorized visitors shall be given a password (by the owner if the router) to access the internet through the router. Those individuals (especially those with Wi-Fi laptops and notebooks) who are not authorized to share the network of the wireless router shall be blocked and considered off limits.

The Linksys E3000 parental controls are so great that it can block particular websites that you don’t want your child to access and constrain internet connections according to the age of the user or the particular time of day. There is also Safe Web Surfing that serves as an alarm if the particular website is unsafe.

The Linksys E3000 also has a firewall originated from a technology that can hamper unwelcome traffic especially if the packets might come from a hacker, which can post a threat to your system and over all security. It can also provide one IP address every time it accesses the net through the Network Address Translation or NAT.

Set Up
During the trial, the set up took 5 minutes or less and the Linksys E3000 or more particularly the Cisco Connect Software can work well with personal computers (PCs) and Mackintosh (Macs).

Just run the software from a CD or a thumb drive and you will be ready in no time. Some uses the thumb drive if their unit or computers don’t have optical drives such as in the case of a Netbook. Just create a copy of Cisco Connect software on a thumb drive and use the thumb drive.

The Linksys E3000 may have some limited capabilities but it is great enough to be used especially by first time users of routers.

Product Review: Breville BJE510XL Juicer

I don’t know about you all, but I’m really tired of barbecuing and can’t wait for fall to arrive. I don’t want to eat another chicken wing or take another bite of hot dog. So now the summer is almost over, I can’t wait to start eating healthy again. Recently I decided that I wanted to start juicing again because I never felt better or healthier then when I was drinking fresh juice regularly.

So I did some research and read reviews to see what would be the best for my budget. Not that I had a big budget but I knew that ease of cleaning was high on my list of requirements. Another was that it had to extract every bit of juice out of the fruits and vegetables I love.

After doing some research I knew I wanted Breville brand because of customers’ reviews on how easy it is to clean. Macy’s had it on sale for a great price this weekend so I bought myself a Breville BJE510XL Juicer. The price was hard to swallow initially but after using it for the past couple of days, I’m glad I got it. It’s so easy to use, powerful and beautifully designed.

It comes with five-speed smart juicing system. You can adjust the speed from 1-5 depending on what type of vegetable or fruit you’re going to feed. The harder the item to juice, the more power it is going to require. When you turn up the speed, the power increases automatically to accommodate the hard produce. If you were to juice soft produce, you can leave the speed at 1.

One of the best thing about Breville BJE510Xl is that it comes with 3-inch circular feed tube. You don’t need to pre-cut the fruits and vegetables. You can feed them as whole. It saves you quite a few minutes when you have a whole lot to juice.

Breville BJE510XL Juicer is dishwasher safe for the most parts. They provide a handy cleaning brush for the filter basket. Although it claims to be dishwasher safe, the filter must be cleaned by hand to be truly clean. You can also clean rest of the plastic parts by hand to avoid staining. I find it easier for me to rinse out the juicer immediately so I don’t risk the staining on the clear plastic parts.

Breville BJE510XL Juicer comes with 1L jug and froth separator. The froth separator comes in handy when you let the juice sits in the fridge overnight. When you’re ready to ready, you can pour it right out from the jug and the froth separator leaves the froth behind giving you only the fresh juice.

All in all I’m very happy with my Breville BJE510XL Juicer purchase. The clean up was a breeze and I can’t tell you how happy I’m to be able to drink freshly made juice in the mornings.

Here’s a simple recipe I used for my first juice with Breville BJE510XL Juicer:
Yield: 3 Full Glasses of Fresh Juice

1 lb of Carrots
3 Sticks of Celery
2 Granny Smith Apples
1 Fuji Apple
1 Lemon Wedge
